When coffee leaks through the gasket, it is almost always due to one of these causes: the gasket or the filter plate are not properly seated in the upper part; there are coffee grounds left on the rim of the funnel or on the thread; the coffee is tamped or overfills the funnel; or the coffee maker is not screwed tight enough. Clean the rim and the thread well, check that the plate and the gasket are in place and close it firmly. If the gasket is deformed or hardened, it needs to be replaced. Kind regards.

Hello, I'm interested in an induction coffee maker from the Ilsa brand that you advertise. My question is, my smallest zone on the induction hob is 15 cm. Would the two-cup coffee maker suit me, because I have a 6-cup one but it's very big since I'm the only one who drinks coffee, which is why I'm interested in a two-cup one.

Hello Tito, whether a hob accepts the smaller utensils or not depends on the hob and how precise it is at detecting the ferrous material, so we can't guarantee whether it will work on your hob. That said, we should point out that the 2-cup ones often give detection problems, but this can also be solved with an induction adaptor. Kind regards.

Good morning, which induction coffee maker do I need to buy for an 18 cm cooking zone? Thanks

Hello Carmen, that depends on the induction hob you have; some recognise very small utensils like the 6-cup coffee maker and others don't. Kind regards.

I bought a 6-cup coffee maker this morning, I ran it with just water for the first use (as I was told in the shop) and the whole bottom part has gone very black and stained. Is that normal?? I used it on an induction hob.

Hello Montse. If the coffee maker ran out of water with the heat on for a long time, then yes, it's normal for that to happen. Kind regards.

What diameter is the 2-cup coffee maker? And the 4-cup one? On my induction hob the smallest zone has a diameter of 16 cm, and this detail I'm asking about is very important to make sure it will work on my hob, because I bought an Oroley coffee maker that doesn't work properly for that reason.

Hello Belen, the flat area — the part that stays in contact with the hob — is 7 cm on the 2-cup one and 8 cm on the 4-cup one. It's important to know the minimum diameter your induction hob accepts, because even if the item is suitable for induction, the hob may not detect it. Kind regards.

What's the diameter of the 9-cup coffee maker? And the 12-cup one? Thanks

Hello Merce. Both coffee makers have a base of roughly 13 cm. Best wishes.

I have a 6-cup Ilsa coffee maker, one of the ones that come with a piece to press the coffee into the funnel. My cleaner threw this piece in the bin and I'd like to get one, but I can't see it here as a spare part.

Description

Stainless steel coffee maker, Bonkaffe model, works on all types of hob: gas, electric, ceramic and induction. Dishwasher safe.

This coffee maker is very simple to use and easy to clean. The handle is ergonomic for greater comfort when serving the coffee.

Made by ILSA from top-quality 18/10 stainless steel. The seals are silicone, much better than the traditional ones.

Available in 5 sizes to suit the needs of every user: 2, 4, 6, 9 and 12 cups.

On some induction hobs, a large cooking zone may not correctly detect the smallest 2-cup model.

You can find the original spare parts — handles, seals, funnels and so on — in this online shop.
