Description
Cooking in the DUROMATIC® is up to 70% faster and vitamins and nutrients are preserved far better. For example, cooking in a pressure cooker retains twice as much vitamin C as cooking in an ordinary pot. It also saves up to 70% energy. The triple decompression mechanism guarantees safety at all times. The ergonomic side handles fit comfortably in your hands, whether the DUROMATIC® is open or closed, and stay pleasantly cool.
The most important cooking times and main dishes are marked on the protective disc of the DUROMATIC® Classic Neo by Kuhn Rikon.
Cooking times for all the other meals and dishes you can prepare with the pressure cooker can be found in the enclosed cooking-time chart, in the instructions for use or in the DUROMATIC® app.
The pressure cooker belongs in every modern home. The models with handles are especially appealing. The two side handles ensure a secure grip and make these pressure cookers particularly easy to handle, especially in the larger sizes. The pressure cooker resembles other pots with its side handles, but beats them for speed when it comes to cooking.
A practical feature here is that both the pot itself and the lid are fitted with side handles. This means the lid can always be positioned correctly, and when the pressure cooker is closed it creates an even more practical gripping surface during use. Pressure cooker models with handles are very popular with many users precisely because of these features.
Caring for your Duromatic:
Harsh detergents can damage the surface of the pot; it is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended.
Regular cleaning in the dishwasher can cause the plastic handles to lose their shine and the aluminium to oxidise or corrode.
Never use sharp objects such as knives, steel wool or copper scourers (they can cause scratches).
Vinegar or lemon juice make it easier to remove limescale marks.
