To be honest I get a bit muddled with the bags. I'd need standard bags for the Lacor home 69050 vacuum sealer, as well as long bags so I can choose the size, also for the same machine. How do you work with these last ones to seal both ends? For now I don't need cooking bags.

Hello Javier, the machines have a seal-only button; when you have a bag open at both ends, first seal one side with that seal-only button, and then you can use it as usual. If you buy rolls you can make the bags whatever length you need. Best wishes.

The most important things when buying a bag or roll are the bag width the machine takes and, in the case of domestic and semi-professional vacuum sealers, that the bags or rolls for vacuum-packing are embossed or textured. Hello Carlos. External suction vacuum sealers can't seal liquids, but there is a trick. The machine has a seal button that stops the suction and seals the bag: if you leave the bag hanging over the edge of the worktop and press this button before it starts to draw in the liquid, you can achieve an acceptable seal. This works very well for low-temperature (sous vide) cooking or short-term sealing, but not with long-term storage in mind. The same trick can be used to seal very soft products. Another option for both cases are the vacuum containers. And finally, the most expensive option but with the best results are chamber vacuum sealers. Best wishes.
