Description

The Ibili Venus omelette pan is a practical double, non-stick pan, 20 or 24 cm in diameter, with detachable handles so you can use its 2 sections for other purposes, such as tins or roasting dishes in the oven. This omelette pan is made from lightweight materials to make flipping one of our favourite dishes easy.

The Venus omelette pan by Ibili is made from aluminium 1.5 mm thick, with two non-stick layers, and measures 20 or 24 cm in diameter. Thanks to its light weight — 700 g for the 24 cm version — it is ideal for people with little strength in their hands.

This Spanish omelette pan not only makes it easy to make delicious omelettes, it is versatile enough to become two separate frying pans, or, simply by removing its Bakelite handles, to give you two excellent round tins or roasting dishes for use with other foods in the oven.

Perfecto. Ideal para hacer tortillas porque pesan poco y son antiadherentes. Además el mango desmontable permite hacer planchas de bizcocho para layer cakes en el horno.

Question: Good evening, my question is whether you have a double frying pan for induction with a detachable handle, 24 cm diameter, 2 or 3 mm base, non-stick, and another smaller one 15 cm in diameter, top quality, and their price.
Answer: Hello Jesus, the Indubasic double frying pan you'll find on our website is suitable for induction, but the handles aren't detachable. Unlike the red one, whose handles are detachable but which isn't suitable for induction. As for sizes, the smallest one made is 14 cm in the Indubasic model (the blue one), and 20 cm in the Venus model (the red one). Best wishes.

Question: The induction Spanish omelette pans are aluminium. Isn't aluminium toxic? What non-stick coating do they have? Is it eco-friendly?
Answer: Hello Ana. Aluminium is one of the most widely used materials in the kitchen because of its price and its ability to conduct heat, and yes, it is toxic if ingested in large amounts. However, when cooking in aluminium cookware there is no greater transfer from the utensil to the food than the amount many plant foods contain naturally. And even less so in utensils like this one, where the aluminium isn't in direct contact with the food because it's coated with non-stick. What we don't recommend is leaving food in aluminium containers; for example, you can cook a stew in an aluminium pot, but once cooked, don't keep it in the aluminium pot itself. It's also not advisable to use aluminium utensils when friction could release small slivers of the material, for instance beating an egg in an aluminium bowl. As for the coating, it has two layers of Teflon which, although it isn't stated, will comply with the new regulations on CO2 emissions in Teflon manufacturing, which some manufacturers promote as eco-friendly.
