Description
The Albacete cutlery factory launches its new Manhattan series, a knife that combines strength with high performance in ergonomics, design and versatility in handling, meeting the highest demands of the professional user.
ARCOS innovates with its revolutionary “seda” (silk) edge, exclusive to this series.
The special “seda” edge has been created by combining our tradition with the most innovative technology, achieving a unique cut. This new “seda” edge brings together the knowledge of our master cutlers and new technologies, achieving great performance, long edge durability and a cut that leaves no one indifferent.
The Manhattan series features an ergonomic handle that adapts perfectly to the hand, made from technical plastic Polyoxymethylene (POM) with high resistance to detergents and very high temperatures.
Its Polyoxymethylene scales increase its resistance to chemicals and the most extreme temperatures.
It has tongue-and-groove stainless steel rivets that mean corrosion is not a problem for your knives.
The design of this new series surprises with its avant-garde style and character.
Manhattan completes the wide range of high-quality forged knives that ARCOS has already introduced to the market, such as the Natura and Riviera series, among others. The Manhattan series has a whole array of models (10 in total) covering the most demanding professional needs, from a 100 mm paring knife, through the 130 mm vegetable knife; three sizes of chef's knife (150, 210 and 250 mm); the 160 mm boning knife; the 200 mm bread knife; the 170 mm sole knife and, closing the series, its two standout knives: the 250 mm ham knife and the new 190 mm “Rocking Santoku”. In short, a knife born with the vocation of revolutionising the world of cutting.
You will find them all in our online shop.
Chef's knife or cook's knife with a 150 mm seda-edge blade, Manhattan series by Arcos.
Wide-bladed knife with a smooth, stable and strong edge. A multi-purpose knife for professionals and amateur cooks that cleans, cuts and chops vegetables.
This is a knife forged in a single piece, without any welding. It stands out for its half-bolster, highly prized by professionals for its ease of cutting and sharpening. Its forged Nitrum stainless steel provides great wear resistance and greater cutting power. This new series benefits from a rounded-polished spine or blade back, which distinguishes it by the smoothness of the knife's grip.
All the knives in the Manhattan series carry the prestigious North American NSF® (National Standard Food) certification.
