Waring Commercial is an American manufacturer of professional catering equipment, known for launching the Waring Blendor in 1937, the jug blender with which the brand popularised the smoothie in the 1940s. Since 1998 it has been part of the Conair group, and it reaches Spain through Pujadas. At Hiperchef we stock 18 Waring products across five families: jug blenders from 1 to 3.75 HP and 1.3 to 4 litres, stick blenders for pots from 11.5 to 200 litres, the 6001X juicer, heavy-duty toasters and waffle maker, and the WKS800E electric knife sharpener. Everything is professional equipment with CE, LFGB, NSF or RoHS certification depending on the model and a 1-year guarantee (3 years on the Xprep motor).
Waring: from the first electric blender to the professional kitchen
The brand's story begins with inventor Fred Osius, who in 1933 brought his "Miracle Mixer" to market, financed and promoted by the musician Fred Waring. Waring redesigned the appliance and in 1937 presented it under his own name as the Waring Blendor, the blender that introduced high-speed blending to bars and kitchens across the United States and made the smoothie fashionable in the 1940s. Waring Products passed to Dynamics Corporation of America in 1957 and has belonged to Conair since 1998, which runs the Waring Commercial division for restaurant, bar and institutional catering equipment alongside the Xprep and Bolt ranges. Almost ninety years on, Waring is still synonymous with high-performance, high-volume blenders in kitchens around the world.
Waring jug blenders: which power to choose
All the Waring jug blenders in our blenders and mixers category share the one-piece, removable, dishwasher-safe shock-absorbing pad, the stainless steel blade and jugs made of BPA-free copolyester or stainless steel. The difference lies in the power and the intended use:
- Bar and cocktails (3/4 to 1 HP): the BB255E is the entry-level bar blender, with 3/4 HP (500 W), two speeds and a 1.3-litre copolyester jug (a stainless steel jug is available as an option). The Blade series steps up to 1 HP (820 W) and 21,700 rpm with a 1.4-litre jug; the BB300E model has mechanical controls and the BB340E electronic controls with a 99-second countdown timer.
- High-volume cocktail service (2 HP): the Torq 2.0 blenders have a 2 HP (1,490 W) motor running at 24,000 rpm that makes three 470 ml margaritas in 8 seconds or less. Stackable 1.4-litre BPA-free jug, user-replaceable stainless steel drive coupling and two versions: TBB145E with mechanical controls and TBB160E with electronic controls and a 60-second timer.
- High performance for food and drinks (3.5 HP): the Xtreme series offers 3.5 HP (2,600 W) with a 2-litre copolyester jug in three models: MX1000XTXEE with mechanical controls and 30,000 rpm, MX1100XTXSEE with electronic controls, a 30-second timer, a sound enclosure and 45,000 rpm, and MX1500XTXSEE with four programmes, LCD display, drinks counter and variable speed. The Xprep MX1200XTXEE has the same power with variable speed up to 20,000 rpm and a 2-litre BPA-free jug; it kneads bread dough, whips egg whites and purées soups and smoothies, and it is the only one with a 3-year motor guarantee (2 years on parts and labour).
- Large batches (3.75 HP): the CB15VE is Waring's high-capacity blender, with a 4-litre stainless steel jug with handles, a 3.75 HP (2,800 W) motor, variable speed and a membrane keypad. It is designed for bakeries, central kitchens and caterers that blend large batches over long periods.
Waring stick blenders: from 11.5 to 200 litres
Waring stick blenders ("Quik Stik" and "WSB" types) are chosen according to the size of pot they will process:
- The Quik Stik WSB35E is the light-duty stick blender: 230 W, 11,000 to 14,500 rpm and 11.5-litre capacity, for continuous work with low power consumption.
- The Quik Stik Plus WSB40E is the medium-duty model: ½ HP (370 W) motor with two speeds, fixed 25.5 cm shaft and 23-litre capacity.
- The 1 HP WSBPPCE power unit is the heavy-duty stick blender: variable speed up to 18,000 rpm, continuous-on operation and rubber handle with an extra grip. It is sold without a shaft and takes all the WSB blending shafts, made of sealed stainless steel and dishwasher-safe, in five sizes: 30.5 cm for 40 litres, 35.5 cm for 60 litres, 40.5 cm for 100 litres, 45.5 cm for 140 litres and 53.5 cm for 200 litres. There is also a 25.5 cm whisk attachment that must not exceed 1,600 rpm on this motor.

6001X juicer for pulp-free juice
The Waring 6001X heavy-duty juicer is designed for small outlets serving freshly made juice. Its 330 W induction motor runs at 3,600 rpm and the patented "Gyro Base" design reduces vibration during continuous use. It yields 8 to 10 litres per hour: per minute it extracts around 355 ml of apple, 591 ml of carrot, 444 ml of tomato or 532 ml of celery juice. The housing is polycarbonate with stainless steel components, the parts come apart for the dishwasher and it has a thermal safety cut-out. It measures Ø 26 cm and 34.5 cm high. You will find it in juicers and citrus presses.
Heavy-duty toasters and waffle maker
For hotel and café breakfasts we have two Waring toasters. The WCT708E is a 4-slot, wide-slot toaster in brushed chrome-plated steel with independent controls for each pair of slots, so white bread and bagels can be toasted at the same time to different shades. The CTS1000E conveyor toaster continuously toasts bread, bagels and English muffins with independent top and bottom heat settings and adjustable conveyor speed; it is the choice for high-volume buffets. In crêpe makers and waffle makers you will find the WW180XCE Belgian waffle maker, in stainless steel with replaceable plates, adjustable thermostat, indicator lights and a drip tray for excess batter. Both the CTS1000E and the WW180XCE are heavy, bulky units delivered to kerbside.
WKS800E electric knife sharpener
The Waring WKS800E knife sharpener is a three-stage, 25 W electric sharpener: two abrasive wheels, fine and coarse, plus a polishing wheel that turns in the opposite direction to remove burrs. It sharpens at 18 to 22 degrees, the angles recommended by knife manufacturers, and a magnetic drawer under the wheels collects metal filings. It measures 146 x 318 x 108 mm and fits on any worktop. You will find it in electric knife sharpeners.
Genuine spare parts: jugs and a lid for hot blending
The jug is the part that takes the most punishment on a bar blender, which is why we keep genuine Waring replacement jugs in Tritan copolyester, which withstands hot preparations up to 100 °C and does not absorb odours. The replacement jugs for Bar Blender and Torq 2.0 cover references CAC134 (1.3 litres, BPA-free, for TBB145E and TBB160E), CAC132 (1.4 litres, BPA-free, for BB255E), CAC93XI and CAC139 (1.4 litres with graduations, for BB340E) and CAC95I (2 litres with graduations). For the CB15VE there is the CAC72 4-litre jug and the CBL10 lid for hot blending, which vents steam in a controlled way when blending soups, creams and purées above 80 °C, something the standard lid cannot do safely.
How to look after your Waring equipment
- On jug blenders, remove the shock-absorbing pad and wash it in the dishwasher; Tritan jugs are washed by hand with warm water and mild detergent or in the dishwasher at a moderate temperature, upside down on the top rack, and should be replaced as soon as a crack appears.
- WSB blending shafts are sealed stainless steel and go in the dishwasher; wipe the power unit with a damp cloth.
- On toasters, empty the crumb tray daily and never immerse the body in water; on the CTS1000E, clean the conveyor belt and reflectors every week.
- Wipe the WW180XCE waffle plates with a damp cloth after each use and, if residue builds up, replace them with new ones.
