Description
The Flames T-700 paella burner kit is the largest in the butane/propane range: three rings of flame across 70 cm and 24.9 kW, with a 90 cm enamelled Garcima paella pan, reinforced legs, large windshield, gas kit with two 50 mbar regulators and spatula. It is the set for street festivals, community events and caterers: 18 to 24 servings of thin-layer rice and up to 50 tasting portions in one paella.
The whole kit is made in Valencia: the burner, legs and windshield by Flames VLC (Alginet) and the pan and gas kit by Garcima. We have been selling paella burners in Valencia since 1977 and we have sized the set so that the flame covers the diameter of the pan, which is what decides whether the rice cooks the same in the centre and at the edge.
For street parties, fallas, large clubs, caterers and anyone cooking for 20 to 50 people at once. It is a heavy set (the 90 cm pan weighs over 39 kg) that is set up in a fixed spot in the yard or at the country house; to cook standing up and reach the centre it is worth adding a long paddle spatula.
With the 90 cm pan you get 18 to 24 servings of thin-layer rice, which is how paella is served in Valencia, or up to 50 tasting portions as part of a menu. The T-700 burner also takes pans of other sizes, so you can extend the kit later without changing the burner.

The T-700 burner runs on bottled butane or propane (29/37 mbar). The kit includes two 50 mbar regulators, one for each gas inlet, the approved hose and the clamps: you only have to connect the bottle. For natural gas, contact us before buying.
If you are going to use the kit outside Spain, the burner is built specifically for your country: Flames prepares it with the gas connection approved at destination and with the manual and labels in your language (French, German or English depending on the country). To order it we need two details: the country of use and the type of gas (bottled butane/propane or natural gas; in Germany and Austria always propane at 50 mbar). This made-to-order build adds a few days to the delivery time. Please note that on orders shipped outside Spain the gas kit (hose, clamps and regulator) is not included, because the regulator and hose depend on each country's regulations; the rest of the kit is shipped complete. Tell us the country and gas in the order comment or write to us before buying.
The 70 cm flat Garcima kit also carries a 90 cm pan and two regulators; the T-700 stands out for its three concentric rings, which let you cook anything from 40 cm to 90 cm on the same set. Both are Valencian manufacturers with a 3-year guarantee; the choice depends on the type of flame you prefer: 3 independent concentric rings on Flames, burners in a line on Garcima. You can compare it with the 70 cm flat Garcima kit with 90 cm pan and see all our paella burner and pan kits.
For a 90 cm pan reckon on about 2.2 kg of rice for 24 servings and 5 to 6 litres of stock; with 24.9 kW it comes to the boil in a few minutes even if the stock is cold. Use both bottles with their two regulators from the start and have the windshield in place before lighting: at this size the wind decides whether the rice turns out well or not.
The enamelled Garcima pan needs no seasoning or oiling: wash it with water and soap, dry it and put it away. Avoid knocks on the rim (the enamel can chip) and do not leave it empty on the flame at full power. The Flames burner is steel with a heat-resistant finish; clean it cold with a brush and store it dry.
Buying the kit you can be sure that burner, pan, legs, windshield and gas kit are compatible with each other, everything arrives together and ready to cook (only the gas bottle is missing) and it costs less than buying the parts separately. Each kit is sold as one unit; if you need another pan size for the same burner, you will find it on the enamelled pan product page.
