Pack of 100 aluminium tins with ring-pull lids (Ø6.5 cm, 100 ml) from 100% Chef for presenting portions as preserves. Leak-tight seal with a can sealer; interior suitable for acidic sauces.
Description
Pack of 100 empty preserving tins with ring-pull lids from 100% Chef, made from aluminium in line with food-safety regulations. Each tin measures Ø6.5 cm, 3 cm tall and holds 100 ml, with the lid (around ø8 cm before sealing) supplied separately. They are the classic creative-cooking trick for presenting a portion as though it were a tinned preserve: your guest "opens their tin" at the table and the surprise is guaranteed.
They are a presentation format designed for restaurants, caterers and events: appetisers and tapas served as mock preserves, tastings, welcome snacks or tasting-menu courses that go for the surprise effect. They also work beautifully at buffets and celebrations at home: a creamy soup, a tartare, a Russian salad or a dessert served in a tin turns a simple dish into an original, playful presentation.
The inside carries a protective coating that is unaffected by vinegars and acidic sauces, so the tins take escabeche marinades, vinaigrettes and acidic preparations without the aluminium being affected.
Important: the seal is leak-tight but not fully airtight, and these tins are not a food-preservation system. Genuine preserving involves processes such as pasteurisation or sterilisation; what we have here is a format for presentation and immediate service, which is exactly what it is designed for.

100 aluminium tins with their 100 ring-pull lids, supplied separately so you can fill and seal them at the moment of service.
With a manual roller can sealer: you rest the lid on the filled tin and the machine seals the rim in a matter of seconds. The seal is leak-tight and the tin is then opened by pulling the ring, just like a shop-bought preserve.
No. The seal is leak-tight but not airtight, and genuine preserving calls for processes such as pasteurisation or sterilisation. These are presentation tins for immediate service or same-day preparations kept chilled.
Yes. The inside carries a protective coating that is unaffected by vinegars and acidic sauces, designed precisely for that kind of preparation.
Cold or room-temperature preparations served straight away: tartares, Russian salads, creamy soups, pâtés, pickles, jams or small desserts. It is a format widely used for event canapés and tasting menus.
