The sushi maki mould by Ibili is a tool you'll add to your kitchen along with this exquisite dish of Japanese cuisine, now made in many kitchens in our country.
The Ibili sushi mould is specially designed for making this dish, helping you with the final task of wrapping the sushi filling in the nori seaweed and, finally, cutting it.
Simple sushi recipe:
1. Wash 1 kg of rice in cold water, rubbing it lightly to release the starch.
2. Gently rinse the rice several times under running water.
3. Cook the rice in 1 L of water over high heat for 10 minutes.
4. Once all the water has been absorbed, continue cooking the rice over a very low heat for about 10 minutes more.
5. Leave the rice to rest for 15 minutes.
6. The rice dressing is made with 190 cl of rice vinegar, 10 g of sugar and a teaspoon of salt. You can optionally add a teaspoon of sake. Stir it all together and set it aside to add to the rice.
7. The sushi filling consists of 1 hot radish cut into strips, soy sauce, a French omelette made with 3 eggs cut into strips, finely chopped cucumber, and 100 g of fresh salmon.
8. Place 1 of the nori sheets in the mould, add the rice mixed with the sushi dressing, leaving a gap for the filling, then use the lid to press the filling down, adding more rice to complete the roll; with another nori sheet, finish covering it, pressing again with the mould lid so the roll is firm enough to cut in the mould itself.
We hope this short explanation about sushi has helped, along with your questions or queries about this delicious Japanese dish.
