Description
The LACOR food steamer, or rice cooker, is an electric appliance made up of a stainless steel base and 3 transparent, stackable containers in which you can steam several foods at once. Also known as a rice cooker, this steamer helps you prepare diets for athletes, for people who need fat-free diets and for anyone who loves healthy, tasty eating.
This food steamer works with a water tank that you fill, housed in its base, which must not exceed its maximum capacity. The water reaches boiling point and generates steam that is directed to the food placed inside its 3 containers or trays. The timer is on the base of the steamer and you set it according to the type of food.
Arrange the food across the 3 trays and containers so that some space is left between them to let the steam circulate evenly, then cover it until the cooking process is complete. Each tray holds around 4 litres. The aromas of the different trays do not mix, as steam has the property of isolating flavours and aromas.
Use the lower tray or container of this electric steamer for thicker pieces such as meat, fish slices or loins, etc., and the upper tray for more delicate foods such as vegetables.
With the electric food steamer you'll prepare juicy food, keeping all its nutrients and vitamins and enhancing its aromas and flavours.
With this LACOR food steamer you'll save on electricity, as you can prepare several foods at once for as long as you set, controlling the exact point of cooking you want at any moment. Its temperature range goes up to a maximum of 100 °C.
To clean this rice cooker, use a damp cloth and then dry all surfaces well for the next time you use it.
This steamer, also known as a rice cooker because it is frequently used — mainly in certain cuisines — to cook rice, is backed by a 3-year LACOR guarantee. The materials used in its manufacture are stainless steel and rigid plastic, passing all the quality and safety controls of European regulations for food use.
