The three-ring Flames T-600 paella burner kit is the first in the range with three rings of flame (60 cm, 19.9 kW) and comes with an 80 cm enamelled Garcima paella pan, reinforced legs, large windshield, gas kit with two 50 mbar regulators and spatula. It is the kit for big celebrations: communions, large birthdays, club and association lunches, with 13 to 17 servings of thin-layer rice and up to 40 tasting portions in a single paella.

The whole kit is made in Valencia: the burner, legs and windshield by Flames VLC (Alginet) and the pan and gas kit by Garcima. We have been selling paella burners in Valencia since 1977 and we have sized the set so that the flame covers the diameter of the pan, which is what decides whether the rice cooks the same in the centre and at the edge.

Who is the T-600 kit for?

For anyone who organises meals for 15 to 20 people several times a year: the family that gathers everyone at the country house, the club, the residents' association, the communion or the big birthday. The three independent rings let you use pans from 28 to 90 cm on the same burner, so for the rest of the year it works just as well for a paella for 4 on the small ring. If most of your paellas are over 24 servings, look at the T-700.

How many servings does this kit give?

With the 80 cm pan you get 13 to 17 servings of thin-layer rice, which is how paella is served in Valencia, or up to 40 tasting portions as part of a menu. The T-600 burner also takes pans of other sizes, so you can extend the kit later without changing the burner.

Which gas bottle and which gas do I need?

The T-600 burner runs on bottled butane or propane (29/37 mbar). The kit includes two 50 mbar regulators, one for each gas inlet, the approved hose and the clamps: you only have to connect the bottle. For natural gas, contact us before buying.

Do you want it for another country?

If you are going to use the kit outside Spain, the burner is built specifically for your country: Flames prepares it with the gas connection approved at destination and with the manual and labels in your language (French, German or English depending on the country). To order it we need two details: the country of use and the type of gas (bottled butane/propane or natural gas; in Germany and Austria always propane at 50 mbar). This made-to-order build adds a few days to the delivery time. Please note that on orders shipped outside Spain the gas kit (hose, clamps and regulator) is not included, because the regulator and hose depend on each country's regulations; the rest of the kit is shipped complete. Flames or Garcima? Differences from the equivalent kit

Compared with the 60 cm flat Garcima kit with 80 cm pan (four burners in a line), the T-600 mounts three independent concentric rings: you can light only the inner one for a small paella or all three for the 80 cm pan. Both are Valencian manufacturers with a 3-year guarantee; the choice depends on the type of flame you prefer: 3 independent concentric rings on Flames, burners in a line on Garcima. Shop tip for this size

A three-ring set needs two gas inlets, which is why the kit carries two 50 mbar regulators and, if you cook for 40, two bottles. Spread the rice in a cross and then in a circle so the layer is even across 80 cm; the large windshield in the kit is essential outdoors at this diameter.

Caring for the enamelled pan

The enamelled Garcima pan needs no seasoning or oiling: wash it with water and soap, dry it and put it away. Avoid knocks on the rim (the enamel can chip) and do not leave it empty on the flame at full power. The Flames burner is steel with a heat-resistant finish; clean it cold with a brush and store it dry.
