Nemox Gelato 12K ST i-Green commercial ice cream maker with front extraction, electronic inverter speed control and R290 gas. Output of 12 kg/h for high-volume ice cream shops.
Description
I've spent years kitting out workshops and ice cream shops, and when someone asks me about Nemox's most powerful floor-standing ice cream maker, the answer is always the same: the Gelato 12K ST i-Green. It's the floor-standing machine Nemox designed for serious, no-compromise production. If your business needs real volume, this is your tool.
Let's talk numbers, because that's what counts. The 12K ST turns out 3 kg per cycle (4 litres) in just 10-15 minutes. That gives you a capacity of 12 kg/hour (16 litres), enough to supply a busy ice cream shop without any stress. The 6-litre bowl lets you work with room to spare instead of watching every single cycle.
If you've worked with top-extraction ice cream makers, you know how awkward it is to scoop the product out with a full bowl. The front extraction on the 12K ST completely changes the way you work. You draw the product straight into the tub or container effortlessly, keeping your posture and saving time. In continuous production, that makes all the difference.
Not every ice cream is made the same way. A sorbet needs a different speed from a creamy ice cream with nuts. The 12K ST features electronic inverter speed control, adjustable between 60 and 120 rpm. On top of that, the adjustable temperature thermostat lets you set the exact stopping point. You decide how the machine works, not the other way round.
The body is stainless steel, as is the mixing paddle. The materials are built to keep up with the pace of a commercial kitchen and to make daily cleaning easy. Cooling is by air, so you don't need a water supply or any extra installation. Plug it into a standard 220-240 V single-phase socket and get to work.
The i-Green version uses R290 (propane) refrigerant gas, which has a minimal environmental impact compared with traditional gases. As well as being kinder to the environment, this technology improves energy efficiency. Its 1,200 W of power deliver more while using less. It's the same philosophy Nemox applies across its updated professional range.

It's not for you if:
No. It plugs into a standard single-phase socket (220-240 V). You just need to leave enough space for the air cooling.
Yes. The variable speed control and adjustable thermostat let you adapt the machine to different textures and final-product temperatures.
The ST i-Green version features R290 refrigerant gas (lower environmental impact), better energy efficiency, and electronic inverter speed control. It's the natural evolution of the classic model.
It depends on the ambient temperature, but it's usually ready for the first cycle in about 15-20 minutes. The thermostat tells you when it has reached working temperature.
Yes. Both the paddle and the bowl come out without tools to make daily cleaning easy.
