Arilex's 1DUO toaster oven is a multifunction electric single-tier unit, designed to toast, grill, heat and brown in professional kitchens with a medium-to-low service volume. It is the simple sibling of the 1DUOT (with timer) and shares the same body, the same power and the same performance, but without the built-in timer — for those who prefer fully manual, more direct operation with fewer mechanical parts to maintain.

Made entirely in Spain, it is built in satin stainless steel and has armoured elements, also in stainless steel. It is a toaster aimed at bars, cafes, hotels with a breakfast buffet, bakeries with a hot line, restaurants with a menu of toasts, snacks and professional production kitchens that need a robust, easy-to-clean and cost-effective unit for toasting bread, pastries, toasts, open sandwiches and filled rolls.

Recommended use

The 1DUO is an ideal unit for breakfast service, cafe mornings, tapas and small plates, or bakery hot lines. It lets you toast slices of country bread, ciabatta or sliced loaf, grill open sandwiches, heat filled rolls or brown toasts before plating. Its 27 cm internal depth gives you room to work with items a flat toaster can't take. With no timer, the cook controls the finish directly with the two switches (top and bottom), the method preferred by those who toast "by eye" all the time.

Maintenance and cleaning

We recommend emptying the crumb tray at the end of each service and cleaning the interior chamber when cold with a mild degreaser. The removable racks can be washed in the sink. The satin stainless steel exterior is cleaned with a soft cloth and specific stainless steel products, never with metal scourers. As there is no timer, there are no electronic components that can deteriorate with damp or vibration, which makes maintenance simpler.

Which type of business is it ideal for?

The 1DUO fits bars and cafes with breakfast service, small and medium hotels with a buffet, restaurants with toasts on the menu, bakeries running a hot line, or catering as a support unit for grilling and heating. It is not the recommended model for large volumes of continuous toasting (the 2-tier 2DUO is for that), but for medium-to-low service with a good quality/price ratio.
